As the sun sets more earlier and my perfect idea of "going out" involves being snug on the sofa, watching a romantic comedy while sipping on a cup of tea is heaven, but never the less when I do go out I want to feel and look glamorous and warm! One thing missing in my winter wardrobe was a white knit.

A winter wardrobe wouldn't be complete without at least one oversized chunky knit to bundle up in. Especially since it takes only the coziest sweater to stave off the wintry winds. White knits has been the ultimate winter staple for seasons on end and is particularly a must-have because it doubles as the absolute transitional piece when the cold frost finally melts.

Not just to be worn on Sunday Mornings this knit can be easily dressed up. The one thing I hate during winter is being cold and freezing my butt of in a "winter" outfit. So I thought "how can I dress this up?" and I thought tulle! After watching a re-run episode of Sex and The City for inspiration and seeing Carrie Bradshow rock a tulle skirt I thought, what the heck let's do this! Carrie Bradshaw changed the game of fashion: She made tulle skirt work in Times Square and I can definitely make a tulle skirt work on the streets.

Let’s talk tulle shall we? It’s back and I kind of love it. Twirling around I felt like I was on cloud nine and with watchers looking on I didn't care about them starring or their glances of confusion. "What is that girl so happy about?" I heard one on looker saying.

This outfit is cosy, feminine, girly and incredibly chic! One thing which is constant in my look is my jewellery, I like to keep it minimal, simple and clean. Key jewellery pieces are just as important to get right as the basic clothing items for a minimal wardrobe. Jewellery staples should be versatile and pair suitably with all of your outfits. I love wearing jewellery which has meaning and our Howlite Collection is the perfect example of this. We all need a little tranquility in our lives and I am very guilty of having an overactive mind. Call me crazy but I'm a big believer in crystals and the power of healing through stones.
