Just another blog post about my current obsession with the slip dress. Why another post about the slip I hear? Because I feel like the possibilities on styling the slip dress are endless and can be worn any season, simply by adding or removing layers.

Today, I wore the slip dress simply by itself… (I can hear gasps of disbelief) Some might say that this is a fashion sin! But let’s set the record straight. It all depends on the type of slip dress and how you style it. The slip dress I am wearing today has many elements, for example it has a velvet look and has lace detailing around the neckline and hemline and you can wear it by ITSELF. So in a nutshell, if it’s an interesting slip dress, yes you CAN wear it by ITSELF.

Another thing I’ve touched on in my blogs are my love for rose gold…rose gold here, rose gold there, rose gold everywhere! My everyday essentials lately have been these rose gold slides, necklaces, watch and bag. These items are so easy to throw on and I always feel polished and sophisticated with my look.

This slip dress can be easily worn from work to play (or any slip dress) by styling it the following ways.

layering the slip dress with a plain t-shirt, shirt or turtleneck;
with a button down shirt over the dress, for a classy and sophisticated work look
with your favourite jeans or;
by adding a leather jacket and choker for that 90’s vibe.
and instead of heels, add sneakers or slides (a lot more comfy too haha)
