Panna Cotta, literally translates as cooked cream in Italian, it's a traditional Italian dessert that is made with cream, milk, sugar, vanilla and gelatine. Panna Cotta is one of my ideal desserts: it’s very easy and quick to make and it can be made ahead of time. Overall it's a crowd pleaser. Confession time... .. I've never made a Panna Cotta before. I know, I know, being from Italian background you would think I would be eating these all day long. Wrong! Not even my Nonni (Italian grandparents) have made or tried it before. That's probably because the origin of the Panna Cotta is from the North of Italy and my Nonni come from the South of Italy....near Naples. I found this dessert light and indulgent. I decided to mix things up and make a coconut Panna Cotta. I substituted the milk for coconut milk. Have I told you how much I love coconut? Well I do. I loved making this dessert and I hope you do as well. Always With Style, xoxo A.
